Asian Spaghetti – Weeknight Quick Meal

Asian Spaghetti

This is a quick fix weeknight meal. If you are a veggie lover like me add more veggies! I like to add a package of mushrooms, 1 cup sliced cabbage, 1/2 cup julienne carrot and a few stalks of celery diced.

 

Ingredients:

1/4 cup Italian dressing (store bought or home made)

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 lb. steak or chicken substitute

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 bell pepper, julienne

1 cup snow peas

1 onion, sliced

1/4 cup cilantro

12 oz. spaghetti

Cook Spaghetti according to package directions. Mix dressing and soy sauce together. Heat a large skillet on medium—high heat. Add steak strips, garlic and 1 Tablespoon of the dressing mixture. Cook for three minutes or until steak is barely pink. Transfer to plate. Add snap peas, pepper and remaining dressing mixture to the skillet. Cook until crisp-tender. Return steak to skillet. Add tomatoes and cilantro. Remove from heat and serve over spaghetti pasta.

Note: Organic spaghetti is for sale on our web site also ancient grain linguine and brown rice spaghetti. This dish is great served with Asian style salad or Miso soup.
